recent events have called for a post regarding dorm door artwork. meaghan and i noticed tonight that her new york yankees logo was taken off of her door in mccarthy (a moderately better dorm than mine, i will admit). now seriously, i have as much of a dark spot in my heart for the yankees as anyone, but come on, let's not be obnoxious. the same thing happened to my roommate's "don't mess with texas" sticker on our door last year. do i think texas should be messed with? sure! (sorry meghan and amy.) and joe made an awesome picture for his and paul's room, which was torn down by some drunken buffoon. really, folks, there's no need. dorm doors should be like a free speech posting zone for the inhabitant of said room. it's not necessary to agree, let's just have a little respect.
