my office listens to the radio station known as "sunny". in the next room, just now, came on the song "wind beneath my wings". now there are some songs that you never really listen to the lyrics of. "wind beneath my wings" is one of them for me. but today i just caught the first line for the first time: it must have been cold there in my shadow. what? now knowing a grand total of two lyrics from this song - that one and, "you were the wind beneath my wings" - i'm left to believe that the song is saying, i'm better than you, but thanks for lifting me up from down below.
